New Direction: New Games

Okay so most of us have hit this enormous burnout with AQW and it is quite understandable. So it has come to my attention that we as a guild should adapt to this most of us are huge gamers so we should try and find new greener pastures and expand. Most of you haveheard of this guilds that have been for years trying new games together I wanna try that.

Okay so this are the following games that I suggest we should play together at the end we need to pick one and jump into that:


DragonProphet:


Dragonprophet is a great game that lets you catch any dragon you find in the field and is very new. It's sort of like pokemon and raiderz, monster hunter etc. It's a very fun game.

The other one is:

Star Trek Online. In the past this game sucked horribly. But with new additions and upgrades the game is really fun so we could try that. In addition to the Foundry which most of you are familiar with in Neverwinter we can expand our guilds lore. So I suggest we as a guild team up to play STO.

My vote is for Neverwinter Online

It is a very challenging game with rich story lines and the best quest system around for the fact that you can make your own quests.

Also Guild wars 2 I think would be fun or even tera online.

I would also like to point out that Star Trek Online is also made made by the same people that made Neverwinter and you can also make your own quest. That's why we should try that as a guild first then we can try neverwinter.

I think you guys forgot that not everyone, who is active here, has an up-to-date computer.  I believe only us three, 1phantom and maybe shii will be able to run the current suggested games at a playable level.  Also keep in mind that some companies have either set up continent based servers and/or have restricted certain countries/cities from playing their games.  With the games suggested right now, I don't think that's a problem.

So in all, we need to work around or find a game that fits these requirements:

1.  Everyone is able to get the game
2.  Everyone is able to connect to the game's server that the guild plans to play on
3.  Everyone can play the game at a playable level

Of course the first two can be bypassed by unorthodox methods, but I believe this should be avoided as long as possible.  The third requirement can be mitigated by tweaks and configs which could help, but it won't ultimately fix the problem.

STO nor Dragon Prophet are exceedingly powerful games none of them should be an issue if played at the minimum level. None of the games I have presented has a region lock. I am open for more discussions regarding more games.

If it ever comes out we can try Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms.  It's an MMORPG based on the popular TV show Game of Thrones.  Best of all, it's a supposed to be a browser game which uses the Unity engine.  Since it's a browser game it is playable for everyone:  iOS, Windows, Linux, NA, EU, Asia, Middle East, South America, etc.  I'm sure if it's any good Colt will love this.

Other than that, let's settle for OMGpop LOL
